The UGT-E4-CO carbon monoxide gas detection sensor is a constant potential electrolytic sensor. Carbon monoxide and oxygen undergo corresponding oxidation-reduction reactions on the working electrode and the counter electrode, respectively, and release charges to form a current. The magnitude of the generated current is proportional to the concentration of carbon monoxide. By testing the magnitude of the current, the concentration of carbon monoxide can be determined.
